Dunlop has launched a new steer tyre for all on-road uses which offered improved winter grip.
The new Dunlop SP346+ has been designed for all seasons and purposes with high mileage and durability in mind. It is aimed at operations that have a varied range of work in order for them to mix regional with short haul and urban deliveries, describing it as a “multi-tasking” tyre.
It features a newly optimised tread pattern for more even contact pressure which is said to increases resistance to damage and wear with stiffeners that act as rib connectors which reduce the slip of the should rubs when steering. That means
a higher usable mileage and longer service life under severe conditions.
Dunlop SP346+ are Three Peak Mountain SnowFlake rated to enable them to be used as winter tyres and come as a 315/70 R 22.5 HL steer tyre with a 315/60 R 22.5 HL scheduled for launch by the end of the year.
