Specialist scrap metal merchants and recyclers T-Met have added a New Generation MAN TGS 8x4 to their fleet.
The Northern Ireland based firm operate four sites in Armagh, Belfast, Coleraine and Campsie where the vehicle will work between collecting both ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals as well as End of Life vehicles (ELV’s).
T-Met’s new TGS is a 35.430 8x4 with an NN day cab and has been fitted with a hookloader body with an automatic roll-over sheeting system and Alcoa alloy wheels. It’s been finished in T-Met’s corporate blue with pinstriped panels having been prepared by RK Trucks Centre and supplied through MAN Truck & Bus UK’s Direct Sales function.
The TGS is joined by another New Generation model, a MAN TGM 4x2 18.250 skiploader bringing the total fleet number to 24 vehicles that includes, TGL 12 tonners with tilt & slide car recovery bodies, TGM 18 tonne skiploaders, TGS 8x4 and 6x2 hook loaders and TGX 44-tonne tractor units.
