Body Paragraphs:

Portable site accommodation and storage container rental firm Mobile Mini has bought eight new Scania trucks, including two 32-tonne P-series units with mounted Fassi 820 cranes.

The operator spent £1.4m on the additions to its 60-strong fleet.

The trucks, fitted with front-mounted legs, will operate out of Mobile Mini’s London and Thames Valley branches.

All the new vehicles are fitted with HALO cyclist warning systems and are FORS- and CLOCS-compliant.

Mobile Mini health and safety director Chris Watcham said: “We always look for ways to build on our first-class customer service and excellent safety record. These new trucks allow easy access to otherwise difficult sites, as well as more accurate placement with improved lifting capability.

"The additional safety features will not only ensure driver safety, but that of other road users and those on delivery sites.”
